On Sunday 22 April the two wild flower areas in the Park that we have been preparing were successfully seeded under the direction of Joe McSorley of the Avon Wild Life Trust and Barry Cruse of Bath-in-Bloom. The seeds were provided by BATHNES Park’s Department (thanks to Simon Memory) and the Avon Wild Life Trust and Bath-in-Bloom. The recent wet weather should get the seeds off to a flying start!
We also planted some native english bluebells donated by the Avon Wildlife Trust.
John Yates of the RSPB talked about the birds you can see in the park.
Zita of Zest ‘Boot camp’ gave some demonstrations with her ‘recruits’.
